Katerina Botoni

A heartfelt welcome, Katerina Botoni !

Katerina Botoni is a Greek mezzo soprano holds a Diploma in Vocal Performance from the International Conservatory of Athens, graduating with unanimous distinction and First Prize. She has also been awarded First Prize at the 18th H.O.N. Classical Singing Competition and the UNESCO Classical Music Competition. During the 2018 - 2019 season, she was a member of the Opera Studio of the Greek National Opera, where she performed the role of Annio in Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito. Her appearances with the Greek National Opera also include John Cage’s Europeras 1 & 2 at the Greek National Opera Alternative Stage, the Greek National Opera’s educational production of Offenbach’s La belle Hélène, adapted by Kornilios Selamsis, in which she performed the role of Achilles during a nationwide tour, and Minas Alexiadis’ opera The Secret of the Rivers of Attica, in the role of Clio, at the Greek National Opera Main Stage. She performed the role of Titika in the operetta The Apaches of Athens at the Municipal Theatre of Zakynthos and appeared in 2024 at the International “Marije Kraja” Operatic Vocal Festival at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Tirana. In 2025, she appeared in the concert series When Poetry Speaks to Music at the Olympia Theatre in Athens. In 2026, she returned to the Olympia Theatre for the concert Correspondences.
