The Silk Road Symphony Orchestra was founded in June 2016 in Berlin and intends to realize its role as a symphony orchestra, expressing inspiration through The Conference of the Birds between different types of world views in classical music.
Silk - as an idea, to understand different qualities through a mutual manifestation of classical music from North, East, South and West.
We are professional musicians from different parts of the world between New York, Tokio, Cape Town, Athens, Rio, Moscow or Berlin.
We are integrating the many unique personal ideas of quality and conditions of classical music in a new concert form (Solo – Silk and Symphonic Repertoire).
The Silk Road Symphony Orchestra is the musical background of The Conference of the Birds on the Silk Road Cultural Belt. Our mission is to equip the enormous diversity of different sources of inspiration with our knowledge of strong, real and clear support.
