Last Friday Daniel Gerlach visited Vienna in the context of one of Candid Foundations (Berlin) newest dialogue formats called ‚Epicon Project‘. Daniel Gerlach has been supporting Callias Foundation since the beginning and is widely known for his ongoing efforts to create solutions for a lasting peace process in the middle east.
With ‚EPICON‘, Candid Foundation is creating a form of dialogue, which connects Palestinians and Israelis with Europeans in every EU member state by creating a Collection of ‚Perspectives of Peace‘ by various leaders in each place.
With this format, EPICON has been present in Helsinki, Bucharest, Sofia, Rome, Athens, Riga, Paris, Brussels, Tallinn, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Lisbon, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Vienna, Jerusalem, Bratislava and Budapest.
Daniel Gerlach recently launched his new book ‚Die Kunst des Friedens‘.
All these efforts to enable new solutions through new European formats of dialogue
are essential for creating peaceful and lasting solutions to live together.
Congratuations to Daniel and his team in Berlin, for this excellent work!
