Taldykurgan, Kazakhstan.

Quote from Jan Moritz Onken, Artistic and Musical Director of the SRSO

" For me as a conductor the Silk Road Cultural Belt is a wonderful online and offline tool to reconnect with audiences along the Silk Road in Cities like Almaty, Dushanbe, Astana, Taldykurgan, Tiflis, Abakhan or Uralsk where I keep very precious memories f.e. from performances of the KV 339 - Vesperae Solennes de Confessore in C major by W.A. Mozart , Johann Sebastian Bach's 'Actus Tragicus' or his Missa in A Major BWV 234 in a most exceptional concert hall f.e. in Taldykurgan in the middle of the steppe in Kazakhstan. To observe today, on the 8th of August 2017 in Berlin, that we have a visitor from Taldykurgan discovering one of the many sources of inspiration at the Conference of the Birds and the fact that we can involve a music lover from Taldykurgan in a global co-creating process is a great privilege thanks to Digital Media. The Silk Road Symphony Orchestra is looking forward to discover your wonderful ideas and ideals of quality and conditions to gain the privilege to perform with the SRSO one of your sources of inspiration very soon - hopefully also in Taldykurgan.
